Retrofit-ready: Our Double C-Face units eliminate the need for expensive double-shaft motors. They can be configured across a wide range of frame motors, from fractional to 20 HP applications.
Compatibility: Easily add a power-off brake to standard NEMA C-Face motors. From 56C to 256TC frame sizes and up to 110 lbs., this spring set design applies braking torque whenever power is removed, offering a reliable failsafe function.
Durability: With a NEMA 4X design (utilizing recommended sealing methods), we offer optional features like nickel-plated shafts and corrosion-resistant paint treatment. The self-contained design, with integrated bearing supports, ensures a long service life even in demanding duty cycles or washdown environments.
Flexibility: Mount either horizontally or vertically. No special kits are needed for mounting with gearboxes in horizontal or vertical orientations. However, large brakes may require a mounting kit for vertical mount applications. Discuss with a KEB engineer for guidance.
